We have had a pretty interesting time here. And as I sit here on the train back to Detroit, pondering what to say, the memories of the days gone by flit through my mind. Not coming here with more than a desire to see the temple, say prayers there and just experience life in a different place, I’ve not been disappointed. The Baha’i House of Worship is very beautiful and in ways that are just not visible in photographs. The interior is beautiful but photos are not encouraged there so you will need to take my word for that. The building of the temple has a fascinating story too, but that is beyond my scope here. The weather has been warm, humid, and for an hour very spectacularly stormy. The people we have had an opportunity to engage in conversation have been warm and friendly too. Altogether a nice sojourn with plenty of time for reflection on our lives and being very grateful. Ruth and Lawrie seem to be enjoying this time as well.
