Today was spent down at the Halifax wharf watching the tall ships depart for several other ports of call in Nova Scotia. We have front row seats thanks to John’s company who have a jetty where their tugs are moored. There are only about fifteen of us on the dock compared to the thousands who are crammed into every nook, cranny and rock in the harbour.
It is also again hot, very hot! which, of course, drives us home around two in the afternoon. There follows a flurry of last minute trip details before supper and an early bedtime as we are off on our canoe trip bright and early the next morning.
The photos you took of the ships look just like post cards. You really have an eye for photography.
