DAY 6 Today we went to Montmorency Falls, Located quite near to Quebec City and in fact might still be in the city limits.
Uncle Lawrie and I walked up to the top of the falls, but Auntie didn’t. The falls were cool! There was a spot that you could stand and get all wet, but I wasn’t up for it so we just took a picture!
DAY 7 Today we went to Old Quebec City. It was wonderful. We saw old buildings and shops around every corner and we saw Artists Alley too! Just look!!!
Auntie and I went swimming in the campground pool after 2 games of skip-bo, followed by supper and lots of Fudgsicles (and a run with the dogs!)
DAY 8 This morning it rained and it rained and this afternoon it rained and it rained. So we watched a movie and afterwards we did a trial run to the airport and then went for supper at D’Orsay, a restaurant in Old Quebec!
The food was delicious and I had Chocolate Mousse Cake (chocolat mousse gateau as Auntie Lynn wants to call it!). I would highly recommend this restaurant. We have to get up at six o’clock so we are off to bed without a game!
DAY 9 Today… SNIFF SNIFF… I go home. Back to Saskatoon. I had a great time. I recommend coming to Quebec and/or Ottawa. They are both great places. And thanks for all the comments! Love Kimmmer!
I love Quebec City. It is one of my favouite places in Canada. In the winter the winds up by the Chateaux Frontinac are so strong you could be blown a couple of feet if you jump up in the air. I think of all the places in Canada this one is the most demonstrative of what the settlers had to deal with when they first came to Canada.
