DAY 1 Hi, My name is Kimberley, AKA Kimmer. I am Lynn and Lawrie’s niece. Today we are in Ottawa and it’s Canada Day and it was great! Auntie Lynn, Uncle Lawrie, and I went to Parliament Hill and saw the RCMP musical ride!
Also we went to Confederation Park and got Henna Tattoo’s, see!
And while we were there (at Confederation Park) we got stuck in a huge rain and thunder storm. We also went to Major Hills Park and saw the jet planes! While we were at Major Hills Park I got to write my name on the sidewalk!
DAY 2 Today we went to the RCMP stables and got a tour of the musical ride horse stables. In the tour we saw the horses and the saddles.
Also we learned that there is a rider named Kimberley (she spells it the same as me!) the horse’s name is Matt!
Later that day we went to the Canadian Science and Technology Museum! It was great!
We did a virtual Indy 500 Race. Auntie Lynn laughed the whole time! We learned lots of things. We had a great time!
DAY 3 Today we went to the Canadian Museum of Currency ….. means money!!! We saw gold coins, old and new paper money, and even trade beads.
We also went to the National Library of Canada. We didn’t see a book but we went into the lobby.
Also we went to the National Art Gallery, but we didn’t get any pictures of the inside, but some of the outside. See!!
DAY 4 This morning we went to the beach and packed up the trailer. While we were at the beach we could see the Fitzroy Power Dam.
Today we also drove to Lancaster to camp for the night! We watched a movie and played Rummikub!
DAY 5 Today we drove and we drove and we drove and ended up in Quebec City. We found our campsite and made supper and had another game of Rummikub! Day 6 to 8 coming soon to a web-site near you!
Kelly, not anywhere you’ll ever find out (actually, I didn’t get one, scared of needles!) Nice fish! Did you see the bass I caught (blog for June 2, Still more Superior), not anywhere near as your pike and the fight was probably ho hum in comparison. Still hot there? Forest fires is new information, have not heard anything down here. In fact most people here are complaining about how cold and rainy the summer has been. Thanks for the comments! Don’t forget to sign me up for curling, thanks!
