Nice day, the roadsides are all so very green, just as I remember from growing up on the Island. There is a new double lane, divided highway all the way. It makes for easy travel, though I don’t think it near as scenic as the old route that follows the coast quite closely. We found my long time friend Teresa and her family in Nanaimo. Our visit was lovely, with lots of catching up and garden stuff. Thanks so much for putting us up and so sorry about the cedar!
