It is raining when we get up … no, not just raining, pouring would be a better word. Fortunately we never unhitched the trailer last night, so with the minimum of fuss we are on the road again. Several hours later we have finally left the rain behind and are able to at least see some of the North Shore of Lake Superior!
We have three parks in mind for our stop today and in order we check out Rossport, Rainbow Falls and Neys Provincial Parks. Rainbow Falls is the nicest but we decide upon “the beach” at Neys.
The beach is formed when the Little Pic River drops its load of sand when it pours into Lake Superior. I am tired and sleep most of the afternoon away. I find that I am unable to drive as long as when we first started and besides, we have plenty of time before needing to be in Stratford on the 16th.
We take a drive in the early evening and are rewarded with this “GTF”, good tourist fox, who conveniently stops for Lynn to take its photo.
