So does this describe today? You bet it does. We were off to an early start out of Elkwater … we could both have stayed longer, but the rest of Canada waits! It really wasn’t exciting scenery if that is what you want to call it. Some of it is rolly, more of it is flat, and all of it is either brown, slightly green or yellow and there are next to no trees anywhere! We stopped to give Oscar and Oreo a run and get rid of our own TBs, and a farmer stopped to chat! Half an hour later Lawrie persuaded him we needed to get going. Even Mrs. Murray kept up a conversation in the Swift Current MacDonalds we stopped at for some lunch. Friendly folks even without a landscape!
