It’s a short couple of hours to Kindersley from Saskatoon were we stop in for a visit with Lynn’s brother and his family. We always enjoy our visits here! The big talk around town is this thing called the DaVinci Project. There’s a world wide, multi-million dollar competition to see who can build and fly a manned craft to outer space and return twice within two weeks. A team from Toronto has chosen Kindersley for its launch site. However, the launch date has come and gone. The Toronto team is still saying there will be a launch, but have been delayed because of a missing part. The locals around town are just a little skeptical because the Toronto team was selling tickets at $50.00 each to watch the launch. To-date nobody has heard if anyone will get their money back if there isn’t a launch. Stay tuned. It’s a nice visit with the Dentons, but we are off the next day, destination Drumheller and a date with some dinosaurs and hoodoos.
